My storytelling journey began with a moment I’ll never forget. One day, my mother came home with a new TV, a video player, and two VHS tapes—The Sound of Music and My Fair Lady. Until then, our entertainment was limited to an old television that played only the news. Growing up in quiet Delta State, Nigeria, it felt like discovering magic. I watched those films on repeat, mesmerized by the worlds they opened up.
With a mother who taught music and a father who adored Broadway (thanks to his NYU days), my fascination only grew. Our home was filled with LPs of Oklahoma! and The King and I, and I found myself performing in school plays, church choirs, and any family gathering that would have me.
Driven by a lifelong love for the performing arts, I’ve blended my work as an actress with my passion for crafting meaningful stories. I’ve co-produced multiple episodes of the award-winning television series Vindication, served as Executive Producer on the short film 8:38, and am currently developing two feature films—The Lump and Butterflies in the Snow. Producing Peggy is another step in telling stories that spark imagination and move the heart—stories that, like Maria and Captain von Trapp’s world, invite us into something deeper, beautiful, and true.
